Happy International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day

“Every women’s success should be an inspiration to another. We’re strongest when we cheer each other on.” – Serena Williams

Happy International Women’s Day!

Here at Perkies, supporting and helping women has always been at the forefront of what we do. Our products were initially conceived from one singular idea: making it easier for women to be confident in any outfit, at any time. Backless shirts, blouses with sheer panels, off-the-shoulder tops – it doesn’t matter. With Perkies’ products, you can be ready for anyone and anything.

And because empowering women is such a large part of our mission, this day offers us an opportunity to reflect on the journey to reach gender equality. There’s been some fantastic progress over the years – in 2021 alone, we got to see the first female Vice President of the United States and the youngest woman to take a company public – but as always, there’s more to do.

“Where there is a woman, there is magic.” – Ntozake Shange

Perkies plans to be part of that future. Whether it’s through our products, our partnerships with other female-founded companies, or our donations to women-focused charities from every sale, Perkies is working to create a great world for the future generation of women entrepreneurs, scientists, and artists.

So this International Women’s Day, Perkies encourages you to celebrate the accomplishments of the women in your life (and yourself!). There truly is no stopping a focused, determined woman, and we're excited to see what the next decade will bring in terms of #girlpower. Today is the day to focus on reflecting, on having fun and thanking the amazing women who contribute to our lives, who have inspired us, and who continue to break the glass ceiling. And tomorrow will be the day that we all work towards our own missions.

There is truly no limit to what women can accomplish. And so, from all of us here at Perkies, we wish you a very Happy International Women’s Day.
